When was the last time a client asked you to help develop a complete look, from brand identity to the website and final product, and they told you to "have fun, and don't make it look ´corporate´"? Well, that's what I've been working on with Digiversity.tv.
Digiversity.tv is a soon-to-launch video training site targeted toward graphic artists and creatives and they tasked me with creating the visuals that would make it clear from a viewer's first visit that "You will LOVE this! This is FUN! And you will learn a TON!"
If you go to www.digiversity.tv now, you can see in the beta version of the site, the overall design, series thumbnails, episode thumbnails, and more, that I had the freedom to create as I wanted.
Russell and I are back from a great week in Troia, Portugal where we attended the »Trojan Horse was a Unicorn« Festival.
It's really a nice thing to be trapped on an island with wonderful humans like Ron Artis II, Kris Pearn, Jesper Ejsing, Carlos Grangel, Mike Jelinek, Sylvain Despretz or Saraswathi Vani Balgam.
It was a wonderful time and experience because of the many wonderful people we met.

Lately I have been very much in love with the concept art of Bambi. I found a beautiful and interesting article on Hans Bachers Blog where he writes about the development process and influences of the style in Bambi. It inspired me to do some studies of the original artwork, which was tons of fun. For me it brought back the fun of drawing landscapes and foliage. I recommend looking into all the other interesting articles of Hans Bacher on the production of Bambi. You can find them all right here.
I was a guest on Adobe Live from the Sofa for the second time today. You can rewatch the Livestream right here or take a look at the other streams I have been hosting on my Youtube Playlist. I documented the whole process in Adobe Illustrator on my Behance for you. You can also download the AI file there.

Had a great time at the Edgy Eyes Games Festival today! Thanks to all the people who came, to hear my talk on Character Design! I had a blast!
Back from my art class today. No app will ever feel like real pencil and paper. Don't miss out on the fun of drawing with real material and breaking the picture plane by applying pigments!
After drawing and training traditionally for a couple of months with my teacher Xu Xiaojie, I got back to digital today and noticed a lot of improvement.
Here comes the timelapse video of my latest #drawing on twitch.
